Beginning Tuesday, residents of St. Charles County, Missouri, will have the option to view their personal property tax statements online before the traditional paper bills are mailed in November.
Michelle McBride, the Collector of Revenue, stated that individuals who have enrolled in eAlerts will receive notifications via text, email, or both, informing them that their statement is available for online viewing.
“For taxpayers looking to make an early payment, they can easily do so online and avoid the stress of wondering if their payment reached the Collector’s Office,” McBride explained. “The convenience fee for an e-check is only $1.50, which is comparable to the cost of a stamp.”
Interested individuals can sign up for notifications by registering at StCharlesMoCollector.com.
St. Charles County has prepared over 182,000 personal property tax bills and around 130,000 real estate tax bills, which will be available online in mid-November.
“This early access allows the Collector’s Office more time to prepare important documents for the November mailers, particularly for those eligible for the Senior Property Tax Freeze program,” McBride mentioned. “These individuals will receive information about their credit for the current year and details on how to renew for the 2025 tax year.”
Remember that tax bills become delinquent on January 1, 2025.
