ST. LOUIS – Today is a significant day for America and the city of St. Louis. The “Celebrate St. Louis” event is set to take place in downtown St. Louis.
Due to ongoing rain, event organizers mentioned that plans may change, but they anticipate starting at 10 a.m. with America’s birthday parade followed by various celebrations throughout the day.
Following the parade, the longstanding tradition of Independence Day celebrations in St. Louis City will continue with nearly twenty vendors along Lenore K. Sullivan. The Wonderful Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation will showcase teen talent among the vendors.
In addition to St. Louis, the Eads Bridge 150th birthday celebration will commence around 1:35 p.m. before an impressive airshow begins at 2 p.m.
The following five hours will feature performances by renowned artists like The Band Feel and Lupe Fiasco. A tribute to troops will also be included in the festivities.
The highlight of the day will be the fireworks display illuminating the St. Louis skyline. For those unable to attend, St. Louis Eleven will provide exclusive coverage from the sky.
Viewers can watch the event on fox2now.com, starting at 9:40 p.m., with the Bommarito Automotive Group Skyfox capturing the aerial display live.
