The Animal Protective Association of Missouri is currently facing an increase in the number of pets in need of homes. With over 650 pets across their two locations, the shelter is dealing with overcrowding issues.
To make room for more homeless pets, the APA has decided to waive adoption fees for all dogs over 30 pounds until July 22. They also offer a “foster to adopt” option, allowing potential adopters to test the compatibility of the pet with their home.
All pets adopted from the APA are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Additionally, they will receive a collar, pet ID tag, starter food bag, 30 days of free pet insurance, and one week of dog training.
If you are interested in adopting a pet from the APA, you can view their available pets at their shelters in Brentwood and Olivette by visiting their website at apamo.org.
