ST. LOUIS – Fast-food seafood chain Captain D’s is planning to expand its presence in the St. Louis area.
Captain D’s has agreed to a 26-unit deal in May that involves opening locations in St. Louis, Indianapolis, and North Carolina, as mentioned in a news release from The Franchise Times.
The news release did not specify the exact locations of the future restaurants in the St. Louis region or the number of units destined for the area.
“It was evident to expand in the St. Louis market, and Indianapolis was a logical choice due to its proximity across Interstate 70,” said Brad Reed, Chief Development Officer of Captain D’s, in a news release. He described both markets as being “underserved by Captain D’s.”
Captain D’s currently has one location in the City of St. Louis (920 South Grand Boulevard) that is temporarily closed. The company also has locations in Florissant, Overland, St. Ann in St. Louis County, St. Charles, Arnold, and three in the Metro East.
Established in 1969, Captain D’s operates over 540 active locations. Their menu features fried fish entrees, hushpuppies, and cracklins among the top seafood selections. To view the full menu, click here.
