DARDENNE PRAIRIE – A local developer has commenced construction on 190 apartments.
The project, named Prairie Encore, will include several restaurants, sand volleyball, and pickleball courts, as announced by the developer, Chesterfield-based Mia Rose Holdings.
The apartments will consist of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with a patio or balcony at the intersection of Bryan Road and Feise Road. They are set to open in the fall of 2025.
The restaurants planned for the area are Sugarfire Smokehouse and Mac-A-Doodles Fine Wine, Beer & Spirits, with the opening scheduled for later this fall. Starbucks is expected to open by mid-2025, and an animal hospital is planned for late 2025, according to a release.
The city board voted 4-2 for the incentive package after the developer agreed to reduce the impact of the property tax abatement on the Wentzville School District.
The Dardenne Prairie Board of Aldermen, in response, delayed action on the proposed project, at Bryan and Feise roads.
