DARDENNE PRAIRIE – A local developer has started construction here on 190 apartments.
The project, called Prairie Encore, will feature several restaurants and sand volleyball and pickleball courts, the developer, Chesterfield-based Mia Rose Holdings, said in a release.
The apartments will feature studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units with a patio or balcony at the intersection of Bryan Road and Feise Road. They’re expected to open in the fall of 2025.
The restaurants include Sugarfire Smokehouse and Mac-A-Doodles Fine Wine, Beer & Spirits, which are slated to open later this fall. Starbucks is scheduled to open in mid 2025, and an animal hospital will open in late 2025, according to a release.
The city board voted 4-2 for the incentive package after the developer agreed to reduce the impact of the property tax abatement on the Wentzville School District.
The Dardenne Prairie Board of Aldermen, in response, delayed action on the proposed project, at Bryan and Feise roads.
