Shoppers in St. Peters, Missouri were busy at Mid Rivers Mall on Friday, taking advantage of the annual back-to-school sales tax holiday weekend.
“Anytime you can save anything is alright with me for any reason because everything has gone up,” Joy Dowey said. “So, we looked for a good deal and I think we got one.”
The annual three-day tax-free weekend begins on the first Friday in August.
Customers can shop tax-free for certain items up until midnight Sunday.
The Missouri Department of Revenue has an entire list of what qualifies and what doesn’t.
