LAKE ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Lake St. Louis is getting ready to welcome a new addition to The Meadows, providing outdoor activities and more.
On Thursday at 5 p.m., city officials will officially start construction on the new space.
According to Asset Manager Teddy Chattah, the new area spans 2.5 acres and is a collaboration between The Meadows, the City of Lake St. Louis, and private developer Jeff Parrish.
The current mix of retail stores and restaurants at The Meadows will be enhanced to attract more visitors to the area.
The expansion will also include a dedicated space for outdoor performances.
The ice rink is slated to open in early 2025.
