ST. LOUIS – Thunderstorms with downpours, lightning, and some small hail will impact the southern half of the viewing area this afternoon. The most affected areas will be located south of Interstate 70.
The likelihood of these storms becoming severe is low – a Level 1 out of 5 risk. Even if they do, the main threat will be nickel- or quarter-sized hail. These storms might cause inconvenience for individuals picking up children from school, at the bus stop, or running errands in the afternoon.
