With the Fourth of July approaching, people in St. Louis, Missouri and Illinois are looking for places to enjoy fireworks displays. Here are some events happening on July 4th or during the weekend:
- July 3: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Alton Amphitheater (1 Riverfront Dr.)
- Live entertainment all night; fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
- July 4: 10 a.m.
- S. Leonor K Sullivan B Boulevard
- Parade along Market Street, airshow, vendors, concerts, and more
- July 4: 5 p.m.
- Kirkwood Park (111 S. Geyer Rd.)
- Free event for all ages with live music, food trucks, and fireworks
- July 4: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Central Avenue Spur (394 S. Central Ave.)
- Local band, pyro-musical fireworks show, and vendors
- July 4 and 5: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.

- Free admission to carnival, food vendors, music, and fireworks at 9:20 p.m. on both nights
