ST. CHARLES COUNTY — A man killed himself Monday morning after shooting and critically injuring a woman in O’Fallon, Missouri, police said.
The double shooting was reported just after 6 a.m. Monday on Pewter Court.
Sgt. Bryan Harr, a spokesman for the O’Fallon police, said a woman was shot inside her home by a male acquaintance, who then shot himself.
The man, 40, was dead when officers arrived, Harr said. The man’s name was not released.
The woman, 29, was taken to a hospital, where she was in critical condition.
