ST. LOUIS – The freeze on Medicare insurance payments that began during the pandemic is coming to an end for certain programs.
To renew their coverage, individuals enrolled in the CHIP and Ticket to Work health assurance programs must make their May payments by June 1. Moving forward, monthly premium payments will be required.
To maintain coverage starting June 1, participants in the Spend Down program must start sending their payments to MO HealthNet in May. These programs are primarily for children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.
