Police continue to search for the suspect who fled the scene of a fatal shooting on Hidden Valley Drive.
WENTZVILLE, Mo. — Authorities are still seeking a suspect following a deadly shooting in Wentzville.
According to the Wentzville Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Hidden Valley Drive off Wentzville Parkway, where a victim was found with gunshot wounds.
Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene, with one person at the scene cooperating with officers.
Authorities are searching for a suspect described as a man with dreadlocks wearing a gray T-shirt and black gym shorts, who ran from the scene before police arrived.
As of Wednesday morning, the suspect remains at large, according to Wentzville Police Sgt. Jacob Schmidt.
Police are advising the public to use caution and not approach the suspect if seen, but to contact the Wentzville Police Department at 636-327-5105 or 911.
