O’FALLON, Mo. – St. Charles County residents no longer have to travel to St. Louis for quality healthcare.
SSM Health and St. Charles County officials unveiled a new outpatient center in O’Fallon, Missouri, on Monday.
“People in this community needed a centralized location for healthcare services,” said Jeremy Fotheringham, regional president of academic ministries for SSM Health in St. Louis and St. Charles.
This center marks the first time SSM Health is merging Cardinal Glennon Pediatrics and the SSM Health Medical Group services.
According to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Ministry President Jake Brooks, patients of all ages can receive the care they need.
“We offer lab services, a pharmacy, imaging services, primary care on the pediatric floor, psychiatry, dermatology, and weight loss assistance,” Brooks noted.
The hospital also reflects the charitable spirit of the five German sisters who founded SSM Health in St. Louis.
“They recognized the community’s needs and were committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to everyone in the area,” Fotheringham added.
This state-of-the-art facility is opening in one of Missouri’s fastest-growing counties.
St. Charles County has a population of over 400,000, with O’Fallon approaching nearly 100,000 residents.
“We are thrilled to provide quality healthcare services to everyone in the community,” Fotheringham expressed.
The hospital will begin operations on Oct. 21.
