ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Ameristar Casino Resort Spa has announced that it will be expanding its convention center and renovating its hotel and restaurants.
The plans include tripling the size of the current meeting and convention center in St. Charles County. The casino expects to add 43,000 square feet to the event space by the fall of 2025.
With this expansion, Ameristar will become the largest hotel convention center in St. Charles County, featuring 400 all-suite hotel rooms and seven restaurants.
As part of the expansion, the resort will also upgrade its 397 hotel rooms with renovations expected to be completed later this year.
Recent additions to Ameristar in the past two years include an upscale cafe and bakery called Copper Whisk and the first Roll-in and Out store in the region.
Furthermore, the casino plans to introduce an upgraded VIP lounge experience in the near future.
In addition to the expansion, Ameristar is replacing the Amerisports Bar & Grill with a gastropub and sports bar and rebranding its steakhouse by mid-2025, adding a modern twist to these upcoming amenities.
