Created by market research consulting company Resonance, the survey highlighted St. Louis as “one of America’s music capitals” and an “energetic crossroads of the nation.”
Some of the key rankings for the city include being 9th in most “Facebook check-ins” and 17th for the Convention Center. Notable mentions were given to the expansion of the America’s Center Convention Complex.
Furthermore, St. Louis claimed the 19th spot for best nightlife, with popular spots like Laclede’s Landing, City Foundry, and the CityPark Stadium being highlighted for food and entertainment.
The Brickline Greenway was also acknowledged for connecting city parks. Resonance mentioned that it pays homage to the 20,000 residents in the Black community of Mill Creek Valley who were displaced in 1959 for the construction of I-64.
Noteworthy is the fact that St. Louis secured a higher ranking on the list compared to cities like San Jose, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii.
