UPS is planning to hire approximately 2,300 seasonal employees in the St. Louis area as the holiday shopping season approaches.
This hiring drive comes ahead of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays that result in increased demand for deliveries. The UPS locations in St. Louis and Earth City are seeking individuals to fill roles such as warehouse workers, seasonal drivers, private vehicle drivers, and more.
According to Luis Galindo, UPS Human Resources Director, “Each holiday season, we welcome new seasonal workers who become part of the UPS family, contributing to our business growth and delivering outstanding customer service during one of the most critical times in our business.”
The company is offering package handler positions starting at $21 per hour and seasonal delivery driver positions starting at $23 per hour.
UPS aims to hire approximately 125,000 seasonal workers nationwide in preparation for the holiday season. For more information on seasonal job opportunities at UPS, click here.
