The Wentzville School District Class of 2024 received almost $160,000 in local scholarships this year. Graduates from Holt, Liberty, North Point, and Timberland high schools were honored with diplomas on June 2 as they move forward with their post-secondary education.
Individual scholarships ranged from $500 to $4,000.
“We are more than proud of our students. These scholarships demonstrate the community’s confidence in our students and their commitment to further education and future contributions to our community,” said Dr. Jeri LaBrot, co-interim superintendent of schools. “It was a truly special night to witness the community’s support for our students. We look forward to the time when these students return to us and give back to the community.”
The scholarships were presented at the WSD Community Scholarship Awards Ceremony on May 15 at Holt High School, marking the district’s third joint awards ceremony.
