Happy home opener day St. Louis! The new season for the St. Louis Blues started last week, and today is the day for fan festivities to celebrate the new season.
Today, the Blues will open the home slate of the 2024-25 season with a division matchup against Minnesota. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Enterprise Center.
If you’re planning to head to Downtown St. Louis today, whether to attend the game or soak in the hockey atmosphere, be sure to plan ahead. Tens of thousands of fans are expected between the big game and a pregame pep rally.
Here’s what’s in store for the pep rally and home opener:
Pregame Rally
From 2:30-4:45 p.m., there will be an outdoor pregame rally at Union Station hosted by the Blues. The rally will include live music, T-shirt tosses, contests, and appearances from Blues staff and alumni. Some lucky fans may even win tickets to the home opener.
- Live music from Russo & Co. will start around 2:30 p.m.
- Captain Brayden Schenn and other Blues staff and alumni will speak around 3:30-4 p.m.
- Louie, the Blue Crew, Blues broadcasters Chris Kerber, and Joey Vitale will make appearances.
Guests can also get food or drinks from various vendors and restaurants near the rally.
Home Opener
The Blues (2-1-0) will face the Minnesota Wild (1-0-2) in their home opener.
- Starting at 4:30 p.m., ticketed fans can start entering the Enterprise Center.
- Between 5:30-6 p.m., pregame warmups will take place. Fans can watch both teams up close during this time.
- All fans are asked to be in their seats by 6:15 p.m. for pregame introductions of the whole team.
- Puck drop is set for 6:30 p.m. but may be slightly delayed.
Popular parking spots include Kiel Center Garage, Union Station, and Justice Center Garage. Prices may vary up to $40. For more options, click here.
Inside the stadium, payment is only accepted via credit or debit card at the Enterprise Center. There are new food vendors available, including Freddy’s and Wendy’s.
The Blues will wear their standard home jerseys for the home opener.
