Residents of Missouri will have the opportunity to make decisions on various issues and candidates during the upcoming general election on Tuesday, November 5. The items on your ballot will depend on where you are registered to vote.

Polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day. Remember to bring a valid ID such as a Missouri driver’s license, U.S. passport, or military ID.
This general election will feature significant issues and candidates, including the presidential election and the local U.S. Senate race. Voters will also have the opportunity to weigh in on key issues such as sports betting, reproductive rights, and a minimum wage increase.

Amendment 2 – Sports Betting
Amendment 2 would allow licensed entities in Missouri to offer sports betting through online wagering platforms, with sports wagering expected to be operational by December 1, 2025. The amendment includes provisions for directing revenue to public schools, higher education, and the Compulsive Gambling Prevention Fund.
Only individuals aged 21 and older would be eligible to participate in sports betting if Amendment 2 is passed.
Amendment 3 – Reproductive Rights
Amendment 3 would grant women in Missouri the right to make decisions regarding their reproductive health, including abortion and contraceptives, without government interference. The amendment also prohibits discrimination in relation to healthcare programs and professional care providers.
Proposition A – Minimum Wage Increase
Proposition A aims to increase the minimum wage in Missouri starting on January 1, 2025, with incremental increases until it reaches $15 per hour by 2026. Additionally, it mandates that all employers provide one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.
