The closure of Chesterfield Mall in Chesterfield, Mo. is fast approaching at the end of the month. Many fixtures from the mall are up for auction as part of efforts to clear the mall grounds.
Piddle Crick Hill Auctions is listing hundreds of items available from Chesterfield Mall. Some auctions will end as soon as Thursday while others will continue until August 20.
Those interested in taking advantage of these deals must act quickly. Winning bidders for the first round of auctions ending Thursday can only pick up their items on Friday and Monday, and for the subsequent round of auctions, pick up is only allowed on Thursday, Aug. 22 or Friday, Aug. 23.

Auction (Ending Thursday, Aug. 8)
As of 1 p.m. Thursday, here are some notable items available in auctions with only hours remaining.
- An IMAX Digital Cinema Projector currently has a high bid of $410.
- An AMC IMAX XL movie poster frame currently has a high bid of $255.
- A pair of AMC Theater JBL speakers each have high bids of $54.
- A pair of AMC Metal 3D letters have high bids of $155 and $125.
- An AMC Theater 52-ounce popcorn machine currently has a high bid of $365.
- A large-scale Coca-Cola cooler currently has a high bid of $325.
- A Saber Glide Ride on-floor washer currently has a high bid of $510.
- An Easter bunny gazebo currently has a high bid of $52.
- A “mall security” segway currently has a high bid of $170.
- Two pairs of anti-theft security posts have high bids of $44 and $32.

- A Fast and Furious arcade game project set currently has a high bid of $4.
- A Star Wars Trilogy arcade game project set currently has a high bid of $6.
- An Area 51/Maximum Force arcade game set currently has a high bid of $14.
- A Deer Hunting USA Arcade Shooter arcade game set currently has a high bid of $62.
- A Joust-themed Multicade arcade game set currently has a high bid of $56.
- A Super Mario cardboard standup (with Mario and Luigi) currently has a high bid of $52.

Many items in the later round of auctions seem to be collector or novelty items. An arcade game project usually refers to an arcade game still in development or in need of repairs before it can be played.
The final day of Chesterfield Mall in its current form is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31. Subsequently, plans include demolishing most of the existing mall and constructing a mixed-use development with apartment units, businesses, office spaces, and more.
